Halloween You've Been Boo'd Treats (Fun Stampers Journey)

Hello, friends! Today I want to share some treats I wrapped up for a Boo Basket to drop off as a surprise to some friends using the You've Been Boo'd pieces from Fun Stampers Journey, along with the Spooktacular Monsters Stamp Set, the Ghostly Treats Stamp Set, and the Ghostly Treats Die Set.

These sets were both recently made available for as part of a promotion that ends December 31st (or when inventory runs out)....so HURRY and place your order if you want them in your stamp inventory before they are gone forever!

Let's get on to the details of each project, shall we?

The first thing I created was a candy bar wrapper for the Hershey's GIANT-sized chocolate bar. I did so by cutting my Citrus Cooler Cardstock to 8" x 10". Then wrapped it tightly around the candy bar and secured with adhesive runner. To decorate the top of the candy bar, splatter the 'You've Been Boo'd' panel with Electric Lime Silk, Citrus Cooler Silk and Cosmic Grape Silk. Then embellish the top and bottom edges with a black scalloped border and some patterned paper from the Spooky Prints Pad.  Super simple and who says it has to be Halloween to wrap up a candy bar, eh?  You can wrap up one of these lovelies and decorate it for any holiday---they'd really make GREAT stocking stuffers or perfect treats to hand over to co-workers or the kiddo's teachers.

Next, I created some super quick tags using the Mummy stamp from the Ghostly Treats Stamp Set and colored them quickly using the Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils. Once they were colored and dry, I die-cut them, and attached them to a tag that was die-cut from the Specialty Basics Pearled Paper using the Tag Elements Die Set. I placed a Treat Cup inside a Clear Bag, filled it with goodies and tied it all closed using Journey Black Licorice Thread and tied on the tie.  Easy Peasy, Lemon Squeezy! Don't those Mummies look A-DORA-BLE with the Wiggle Eyes!?

This next project makes me smile SO big!  The Ghost stamp from Ghostly Treats has to be one of my favorites from these two sets......he is just so darling. For this little goodie, I used the Treat Bags and tucked a Ghost-Shaped Sugar Cookie inside, then folded the top over and secured it with a Jumbo Clothespin and Black Licorice Satin Ribbon Bow that was tied by securing two cuts of ribbon (Lavender and Citrus Cooler) caught within the knot. The front was then embellished with two Pennant Dies of the same size, one cut with cardstock and the other with printed stock, and then topped off with the Ghost Stamp colored with the Watercolor Pencils.  Before the Ghost is placed onto the Pennant die-cuts, use your stapler to staple four strands of Sequin Trim to dangle from behind the Pennants.

One additional thing I tucked into my 'boo baskets' were these darling little boxes. The top is embellished with the Doily Die, a die-cut vellum Journey Circle splattered with Cosmic Grape Silk, a die-cut Electric Lime Journey Circle and then the stamped image from Ghostly Treats Stamp Set popped up with foam squares.  Inside is a donut with icing and festive sprinkles.

Lastly, the 'boo baskets' each needed a greeting Spooktacular greeting card to go with them!

I simply used my River Stone Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencil to make a puddle of color on the center of a Whip Cream card base. Once dry, I splattered Journey Silver Silk and Electric Lime Silk on the card base before adding my fussy-cut stamped image over top with foam squares. These were colored using Journey Color Splash Watercolor Pencils. The top of the card was accented with a 1/2" strip of Citrus Cooler Cardstock and the bottom was accented with a 1 1/2" strip of Printed Paper. The card was finished off with Special Celebrations Journey Sequins for a little sparkle.
